Out of Hours Procedures

Our office opening hours are Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm. For enquiries outside of these hours, please follow the procedures below.

Non-emergency maintenance during times of office closure:

  • Only genuine emergencies will be addressed during the office closure.

  • For non-urgent issues, we kindly ask you to wait until our offices reopen to report them. Alternatively, you can report them online for our team to review upon our return. Click here to report an issue .

Emergency maintenance procedures outside of office hours:

During this time, emergency issues can be addressed directly with our trusted contractors. Please use the contact details below for specific emergencies:

  • Smell of Gas

    • If you smell gas or encounter a gas-related emergency, call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999.

  • Blockages in Mains Sewer, Drains, or Water Mains

  • Heating and Plumbing Issues

    • For heating and plumbing emergencies, contact Gas Gold at 02920 881610.

  • Electrical Issues

    • If you experience electrical problems, call Isca Electrical at 07538 858153.

  • Roofing or Building Issues

    • For roofing or building emergencies, contact Chris Bodman at 07870 378 895.

  • Locksmiths

    • For lost keys, locks and doors contact Anubis Locks on 07590 997364.

What to do if you're experiencing flooding:

  • If it’s an emergency, call 999.

  • To report flooding or drainage issues, call your council’s main line immediately

  • Alternatively you can use the council’s online form to report a blocked drain or manhole in a public place.

  • If the flooding is due to sewerage (rather than surface water or drainage), contact Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water on 0800 085 3968.

Costs for Non-Emergency Callouts

If you choose to engage a contractor for a non-emergency issue during the office closure, please be aware that you will be responsible for the associated costs. We encourage you to assess the urgency of the situation before contacting external services.
